When you go live on Showvaana, your video feed is transmitted via secure RTMP or SRT protocol to our nearest cloud ingestion point. From there, our multi-cloud transcoders dynamically generate adaptive bitrates (1080p, 720p, 480p, and audio-only 64kbps).

Your viewers receive instantaneous playback across web browsers, native mobile apps, and connected smart TVs through our global edge CDN. Users without mobile data or smartphones can even dial *920*909# on any basic phone to listen in via our telephone audio bridge!

OBS Studio Setup Guide

Open OBS Studio and navigate to Settings → Stream.
Set Service to Custom...
In Server, paste your Showvaana RTMP URL: rtmp://live.showvaana.com/live
In Stream Key, paste your private confidential stream key generated in your event dashboard.
Go to Settings → Output and select Output Mode: Advanced.
Video Bitrate: Set between 4,500 kbps and 6,000 kbps for 1080p60.
Keyframe Interval: Set strictly to 2 seconds (critical for low-latency player sync).
Encoder: Select NVIDIA NVENC H.264 or Apple VT H264 Hardware.
Click Apply, return to the main window, and click Start Streaming!

Dropped Frames in OBS (Red Square)

Cause: Venue internet upload bandwidth is choking or fluctuating.

Fix: Lower bitrate by 1,500 kbps immediately. Disable background downloads, connect Ethernet cable, or enable dynamic bitrate in OBS.

Audio and Video Lip-Sync Drift

Cause: HDMI capture card processing delay differs from microphone interface latency.

Fix: In OBS Advanced Audio Properties, add a 100ms–200ms "Sync Offset" to the audio source until clapping matches mouth movement.

Black Screen on Stream Player

Cause: Stream key is mistyped or video input resolution is unsupported.

Fix: Verify stream key copied from dashboard. Ensure OBS canvas output is set to standard 1920x1080 resolution at 30 or 60 FPS.

High Video Playback Buffering for Viewers

Cause: Keyframe interval is set to Auto (0) instead of strictly 2 seconds.

Fix: Force Keyframe Interval = 2 in encoder settings. This allows HLS segment slicing for smooth mobile delivery.

Once you create an event inside your Showvaana Organizer Dashboard, navigate to the "Broadcast" tab. Your unique RTMP Ingest Server URL (e.g., rtmp://live.showvaana.com/app) and confidential Stream Key will be generated automatically.
