1. Acceptance of Terms
By browsing our website, creating an account, buying a ticket, voting, streaming, or dialing *920*909#, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these Terms, you must discontinue platform use immediately.
2. User Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 years old in France and the European Union) to create an individual user account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities initiated through your account.
3. Platform Services & License Grant
Showvaana provides a digital infrastructure enabling event discovery, digital ticketing, live broadcasting, online voting, and advertising. Subject to compliance with these Terms, Showvaana grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to access our platform.
4. Ticketing, Purchases & Refund Policies
- Finality: All ticket purchases are final upon successful payment processing and QR issuance.
- Event Cancellations: If an event is cancelled by the organizer and not rescheduled within 60 days, ticket holders are entitled to a full 100% refund processed within 7-14 business days.
- Postponements: If an event is rescheduled, existing tickets remain valid for the newly announced date.
- Scalping Prohibition: Reselling Showvaana tickets above face value or distributing counterfeit duplicated QR codes is strictly illegal and will result in criminal referral.
5. Voting Integrity & Tamper-Proof Standards
Showvaana enforces rigorous anti-fraud measures on all voting operations. Attempts to manipulate election outcomes through automated scripts, botnets, credit card chargeback fraud, or SIM-box spoofing will result in immediate vote invalidation and forfeiture of all fees paid.
6. Event Organizer Obligations
Organizers hosting ticketed or streamed events on Showvaana agree to:
- Provide truthful descriptions of venue, start times, artist lineups, and seating arrangements.
- Obtain all mandatory municipal, national, and musical copyright performance licenses (e.g., GHAMRO, COSON).
- Deliver the event professionally as promoted or issue prompt stakeholder communication in the event of force majeure.
- Remit agreed platform service fees and commissions per organizer agreements.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
The Showvaana brand, trademark, software code, UI designs, and proprietary algorithms belong solely to Showvaana. Content creators and organizers retain copyright ownership over their individual audio-visual stream content, granting Showvaana a worldwide non-exclusive license to encode and transmit the broadcast.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not upload or stream pornography, hate speech, violent extremism, or copyright-infringing bootleg recordings. Any user attempting denial-of-service attacks, reverse engineering, or unauthorized penetration testing will be permanently banned.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Showvaana is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Showvaana is not liable for artist no-shows, third-party ISP power outages, or indirect consequential damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the fees paid to Showvaana in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Parties shall first attempt amicable informal resolution; failing which, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Accra, Ghana.
