By accessing our website (showvaana.com), mobile apps, USSD shortcode (*920*909#), or any related service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy.

We collect information necessary to provide, optimize, and secure our services:

• Account Registration: Full name, email address, mobile telephone number, country of residence, and password hash.
• Transaction Data: Mobile Money account details, credit/debit card tokens, billing address, and complete transaction history for ticket purchases and votes.
• Event Organizer Details: Event titles, dates, descriptions, venue locations, promotional media, ticket tiers, and payout bank or Mobile Money account credentials.
• Automated Device Data: IP address, browser type, operating system version, mobile network carrier, device identifiers, session timestamps, and page interaction heatmaps.
• USSD Logs: Telephone MSISDN numbers, session initiation timestamps, menu traversal paths, and voting responses for USSD operations via *920*909#.

We utilize your information strictly for the following lawful operational purposes:

• Delivering core event streaming, ticket QR generation, and real-time vote tallying.
• Processing payments securely through authorized payment gateway partners (PCI-DSS compliant).

We will NEVER sell or rent your personal information to third-party data brokers. We share information only under strict operational conditions:

• Event Organizers: Organizers receive attendee names, contact emails, and ticket tiers strictly for event access management and gate check-in.
• Payment Processors: Transaction parameters are securely routed through accredited banking and telco gateways (e.g., MTN, Telecel, Visa, Mastercard).
• Legal & Regulatory Authorities: We disclose data when compelled by valid legal subpoenas, court warrants, or statutory national regulatory mandates.

We maintain bank-grade physical, technical, and administrative safeguards:

• All web and API traffic is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL).
• All sensitive database records, passwords, and tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enforced for all event organizer and broker accounts.
• Regular automated vulnerability scans and annual third-party penetration tests.

Depending on your residence (e.g., GDPR in Europe, Act 843 in Ghana, NDPR in Nigeria, POPIA in South Africa), you have the right to:

• Request a portable machine-readable copy of the personal data we store about you.
• Request immediate correction of inaccurate or outdated profile information.

Because Showvaana operates cross-border across Africa, Europe, and North America, your information may be processed in secure cloud data centers located in regions outside your home country. We utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and binding data processing agreements that guarantee equal protection under international law.

We retain active account data for the duration of your platform relationship. Financial transaction logs and ticket receipts are retained for 7 years in accordance with international tax, auditing, and accounting regulations. Inactive accounts with zero activity are purged after 36 months of inactivity.
